Abstract

The course focuses on the topic of Communication and its effective use within the Social Work profession. We concentrate on various forms of Communication, as well as related terminology from the point of view of social workers. This topic is aimed at types of Communication, theories of Communication, and effective strategies in communication.

The level of the course, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), is B1-B2. The course also aims to refresh and further build up active knowledge of grammatical structures and general vocabulary.

The competence of the course is to be able to define the process and content of Communication and to be aware of the array of communication instruments that could be used for the benefit of all people involved in the process of communication..
