Annotation

This material is created as a study material for the College of Higher Medical Education for students who are specializing in Nutritional Therapy in order to expand their vocabulary in English. The material is processed in accordance with the curriculum for the Higher Vocational School in the subject of Nutrition Therapy. This material will teach students topics such The World of Food, The Eating Habits, National Cuisine, Manners and Eating Out.

Tento materiál je vytvořen jako studijní materiál pro Vyšší odborné školy zdravotnické, pro obor Nutriční terapeut za účelem rozšíření slovní zásoby v anglickém jazyce. Materiál je zpracován v souladu s osnovami pro Vyšší odbornou školu, obor Nutriční terapeut. Tento materiál seznámí studenty s tématy jako Jídlo, Stravovací návyky, Národní kuchyně, Zvyky a Stravování v restauracích.

Objectives

The student is able to define the topic of World of Food. He or she can recognize the difference between words food, meal and dish; can speak about different ways of food preparation, national cuisines, manners and habits and also about eating out.

Student je schopen definovat pohovořit na téma Svět jídla. Student je schopen poznat rozdíl mezi slovy potravina, jídlo, strava, je schopen hovořit na téma přípravy jídel, národních kuchyně, zvyky a stravovací návyky a je také schopen pohovořit na téma stravování v restauracích.
