Turismus je dnes považován za průmysl bez přírodních zdrojů. Bez zdrojů jako průmysl však nemůže existovat. Jaké jsou tedy zdroje turismu? Materiál chce ukázat proměny v turistice v ČR od roku 1989, zaměřit se na priority v propagaci přírodních atraktivit, historických a architektonicky zajímavých památek. Bude mapovat potenciál českých památek na Seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO a kulturních akcí, jejichž přitažlivost má přivést do České republiky rostoucí počty návštěvníků. Novou roli zde dostává lázeňství a dříve málo využívaná kongresová turistika.

Tourism has been today seen as the industry without natural resources. But as an industry it cannot exist without resources. What resources are there in tourism? The material wants to map the changes in tourism in the Czech Republic since 1989, focus on the priorities in the promotion of natural attractions, historical and architectural sights. It will cover the potential of Czech sights on the World Heritage List of the UNESCO and cultural events, whose attractiveness should bring into the Czech Republic increasing numbers of visitors.
